Just a little about ourselves :) David and I have been married almost a year, coming up June 8th. Back to the beginning....David and I started emailing each other off of ldsmingle at the beginning of November 2006. I didn't consent to going on a date until the second or third time David asked me. I would say that by far, our first date was the best date I had ever been on. David took me to his company's Christmas party which was a Hawaiin Luau. We watched girls doing Hawaiin dances and a guy juggling fire. There was also bouncers for the kids to play on so I got to see first hand how David interacted with kids and I loved what I saw. Afterwards, he took me on a hay ride while we christmas caroled around Val Vista Lakes subdivision. David I continued going on several dates over the next couples of weeks. I kept asking what our relationship status was, as we had kissed on the third date, held hands yadda yadda yadda-and he would never tell me! Finally on Valentines Day, after having told me that he wanted to date around, he let me know where we stood. After a picnic on the temple grounds, just him and me, under a cloudy sky (it had just rained like an hour prior to us being there), we walked around the temple.

David said to not worry about just leaving our picnic food and blanket. We sat under an olive tree in front of the temple and he read me the sweetest poem. He then asked me (standing-although he says he knelt) if I would marry him and of course I said yes!! David was a guy that I had never felt any feelings of something wrong while dating him. Everything had seemed perfect about him as a person and someone that I could share the eternities with. We were married on June 8, 2007 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. We honeymooned in San Diego-we went to Sea World and the Beach and about froze to death from it being so cold! Thats what we get coming from Arizona :)
